摘要: Fifteen patients treated surgically for vulvar cancer from two institutions participated in semistructured interviews and objective assessment to examine postoperative psychologic, social, marital, sexual adjustment. Descriptive statistics indicate that after surgery report mild distress, but they reasonable levels of satisfaction with their free-time social activities. Mild marital distress may exist. Sexual functioning body image appear undergo major disruption despite the fact intercourse remains possible. Women reported arousal at eighth percentile fourth percentile. Although replication these findings is clearly necessary, this investigation provides first substantive look posttreatment life circumstances offers a data base future investigation.
