摘要: Recent contributions by penologists of Leiden University to the present state knowledge concerning crystalline Galicia are summarized. An enumeration most important rock-types is given and their grouping in geotectonic units attempted. The structural metamorphic history outlined shown comprise a variety pre-hercynian (pre-Cambro-ordovician) as well hercynian post-hercynian elements. It argued that originally geosynclinal rocks orogen (frequently attaining eclogite, granulite or charnockite facies) were intruded Cambro-ordovician granitic rocks, subsequently incorporated orogen, where they re-deformed, predominantly N-S trending isoclinal folds, re-metamorphosed, locally reaching wet anatextitic climax cordieriteamphibolite facies Winkler. orogenic cycle claimed have terminated W. with further episodes tectonization recrystallization, retrograde metamorphism intrusions an increasingly high-level nature. A synoptic table, presenting tentative correlation geological events Galicia, appended.
