摘要: The synthesis of new chiral side-chain liquid-crystalline polysiloxanes containing p-(allyoxy)benzoxy-p-chlorophenyl (ABCH) as mesogenic units and undecylenic acid menthol ester (UM) nonmesogenic is presented. chemical structures monomers polymers are confirmed by IR spectroscopy. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) used to measure thermal properties those polymers. Mesogenic characterized polarized optical microscope (POM), DSC, small-angle X-ray diffraction. Analytic results revealed that P0–P6 thermotropic with low glass transition; Polymers P2–P6 exhibit smectic marble texture, rotation, a sharp reflection at angles in diffraction; P0, P1 only without chirality; P7 exhibits chirality properties.
