摘要: Morphological characteristics of snow ripples formed by drifting were investigated as functions wind velocity in a cold tunnel at -15 °C. Wave-length, wave height and migration rate increased from 5 to 20 cm, 3 mm 1 8 cm/min, respectively, with increasing 7 m/s. Measured size distributions particles showed sorting large ridges, suggesting that the ripple is caused creeping particles. The drift creep, is, migration, was estimated amount, least, 6% total rate.
