摘要: Implementation of the European Working Time Directive (EWTD) raises questions about reduced surgical training opportunities and lost continuity patient care. We studied effect that EWTD has had in these areas for residents neurosurgical unit at St. George's Hospital, London, UK. Case notes 50 emergency elective operative admissions were randomly selected before after implementation an compliant resident roster (total, 200 episodes).
