摘要: Abstract 125 cases of carpal tunnel syndrome confirmed electrophysiologically were the subject longitudinal nerve conduction studies to assess spontaneous improvement and effect treatment. 36 showed a slowly progressive deterioration which became stastistically significant only on lengthy follow-up; analysis interval tests in these revealed that definite or rapid worsening can occur interim. The 56 studied after local corticosteroid injections statistically at one month followed by an overall return previous abnormal values six 12 months, indicating slight temporary alteration natural progression deficit. 33 underwent surgical release median shown have obvious often improvement, was sustained for least year surgery.
