摘要: Lack of attendance to cervical cancer screening (CCS) services is the most attributable factor development cancer. Transgender men, individuals whose gender identity does match with their natal female sex, use CCS less often than general population. The underlying reasons for deficient among transgender men relate mostly stigmatized identity, such as discrimination and unwelcoming healthcare environments. However, additional research needed expand our understanding this complex issue. This exploratory qualitative study aimed identify determinants from perspective men. Twenty ages 21-65 were conveniently sampled participate in a semi-structured interview 2018. data analyzed using deductive-inductive content analysis approach results sorted into socioecological framework (SEM). participants non-Hispanic white. mean age was 33, 55% sample had attended last three years. Eight overarching factors identified data. Each included descriptive sub-factors. At institutional interpersonal SEM levels, related providers organizations. individual level, past negative experiences, development, socioeconomic status.
