摘要: This paper assesses the role of Dedibit Microfinance in poverty alleviation and women’s empowerment Mekelle city. Data from primary sources were collected through closed ended questionnaire semi-structured interview. Questionnaire was distributed 122 clients seven branches three sub-branches Microfinance, which located around In addition, one official head office institution contacted interview along participant observation. Supplementary to data, secondary data different also collected. It is found that microfinance providing financial services unemployed low income individuals or groups who would have no access formal banking services. has positive impact on living standard poor people particular alleviating their household general. not only undermining city, but empowering women surviving making life prosperous with dignity self reliance.
