摘要: The growth process of platinum on Ru(0001) near room temperature was characterized using photoelectron spectroscopy high resolution. binding energy position and intensity the Pt 4f7/2 Ru 3d5/2 core levels as well shape structure valence band spectra corresponding to different stages deposition were analyzed. Up ca. two adsorbate monolayers, changes peaks indicated layer-by-layer mode. surface level shifts evaluated -0.33 -0.476 eV, respectively. show a rather weak interaction between d-bands Ru.
