摘要: Abstract A growing literature is developing parallel to increasing “voice of society” concerns about corporate social and environmental responsibility. Emerging research suggests that, while public policy might provide the framework for internalisation previous external damage costs, it strategy that can make difference between disaster pollution prevention, responsible business practice defined by its anticipative pro-active approach ensuring prevented mine closure accompanied clean-up reclamation. The Summitville gold mine, an abandoned open pit underground operation in Colorado often described as “environmental disaster” one most notorious example inadequate design, poor failed management at a mining US, past or present.
