摘要: A pyrolysis route has been used to synthesize arrays of highly aligned BxCyNz nanotubes in bulk. The structure and composition the product were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission energy-loss spectroscopy. length diameter are quite uniform a large area reaction zone. sizes from whole zone 10–30 μm 20–140 nm diameter. x/z ratio for most is about 1:1. x/y up 0.6. Within one nanotube, usually heterogeneous. growth mechanism also discussed.
