摘要: The treatment of humidity data in European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts' (ECMWF's) assimilation scheme is described. uses a 6-hourly intermittent analysis-initialization- forecast cycle, the being made by using ECMWF's global 15 level N48 primitive equation model with parameterization physical processes. analysis consists simple correction to precipitable water content field, radiosonde observations temperature and dew point, humidities deduced from surface temperature, current weather, cloud. Code use satellite soundings has been written but yet be tested. Preliminary tests indicate that distinguishable structures are derived largely model.
