摘要: Abstract In this paper Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy has been applied for determining the elemental composition of a set ancient bronze artworks coming from archaeological site Minervino Murge — Southern Italy (dated around VII b.C.). Before carrying on analysis samples, characterization analytical technique accomplished by investigating trueness typical assumptions adopted in LIBS, such as Local Thermodynamic Equilibrium, congruent ablation and plasma homogeneity. With purpose, two different laser pulse durations, 7 ns 350 fs, have used. We focused our attention LIBS standards considering discussing bases both methodology approach to be followed copper-based-alloy samples. Unexpectedly, regardless duration, shown, an adequate emitting features, that its peculiarities are anyway preserved so fast copper-based-alloys can achieved. After verifying suitability methodology, it possible fulfill considered calibration curves method use analysis.
