摘要: This paper reports on different applications of sodium metabisulphite as a formaldehyde scavenger. The reduction in emission and the effect physicomechanical properties particleboards were studied. scavenger was mixed with urea–formaldehyde resins to urea molar ratios added separately production particleboards. Several differences between content boards found. When applied melamine–formaldehyde resins, changes less significant, probably due incorporation bisulphite polymeric matrix. type formaldehyde-based resin form addition are major factors affecting scavenging efficiency.
