摘要: Excurrent duct obstruction is a potentially reversible cause of male infertility. It can occur anywhere along the ductal system from rete testes (empty epididymis syndrome) to ejaculatory ducts. The incidence obstructive azoospermia among infertile men approximately 7% 10%. Elective vasectomy most common obstruction. Other causes include those related congenital anomalies ranging total absence vasa deferentia, seminal vesicles, and ducts minor dysjunction between epididymides or secondary scarring tubules as result prior infection, inflammation, trauma, iatrogenic injury vas deferens. Figure 16.1 an algorithm suggested for evaluating treating patients who may have non-obstructive problem causing azoospermia.
