摘要: Publisher Summary Defining the molecular basis underlying establishment and maintenance of cardiac muscle differentiation presents a fundamental challenge in study developmental biology genetics. This chapter focuses on recently identified tinman gene family members, vertebrate Nkx2-5 closely related Nkx-2.8, their roles specification lineage patterning embryonic heart. The also examines biological role serum response factor (SRF), purported ubiquitous transcription factor, which is required for expression contractile protein genes, such as oL-actins. Serum was demonstrated to be highly expressed lineages. In addition, this will explore SRF's interaction with Nkx2-5. SRF are capable activating cardiogenic activity fibroblasts. Finally, discussion attempts explain how function phylogenetically conserved pathway that does not utilize skeletal myogenic MyoD instrumental cell differentiation.
