摘要: Diallyl ether was produced exclusively when an allyl alcohol solution containing copper(I) chloride and ammonium heated in the absence of air. A mixture ethyl alcohols gave diallyl ethers, but no trace diethyl ether. The tracer experiment employing 18O-enriched showed that C–O bond ruptured formation. kinetic study these etherification reactions rate determining step would include nucleophilic attack or molecule on catalyst-substrate complex. novel complex, (NH4)2Cu2Cl4(C3H6O)2, isolated characterized, active catalyst species assumed to be (NH4)2Cu4Cl6. Methyl derivatives were also allowed react presence same possible mechanism discussed.
