摘要: Abstract Corrosion resistance of protective coatings on steels against high-temperature sulfidation conditions was studied. The made via thermal diffusion process had multi-layered architectures and consist aluminides, iron borides or boride - titanium dioxide layers. These applied onto carbon steel austenitic stainless 316 were exposed in the H2S-Ar gas flows at 500 °C, their performance compared to bare 316L. While experienced corrosion surface intensive sulfide scale peeling, considered remained integrities with no peeling. structural examination revealed new phases' formation within coatings, coating thickness reduction, delamination crack occurrence. This type has much potential due increased stability since they are suitable for protection inner outer surfaces long tubing.
