摘要: mTOR, an evolutionarily conserved Ser/Thr protein kinase, belongs to the PI3K-related kinase family, which also includes DNA-PKcs, ATM, and ATR. Although other family members have been shown secure genomic integrity by sensing DNA damage related stresses, mTOR is known function as a nutrient growth factor sensor. catalytic subunit of two distinct multiprotein complexes complex 1 (mTORC1) 2 (mTORC2). In response availability, these regulate variety cellular processes, such cell growth, proliferation, survival modulating downstream effectors, S6K1, 4EBP1, AKT. Therefore, evaluation activity has clear readout in order monitor physiological status cells environmental cues. Here, we present current techniques for assessment different experimental settings.
