摘要: Abstract The i.r. spectra of solid films hypofluorous acid, HOF, have been measured at −195°C between 300 and 4000 cm −1 . the isotopic species DOF H 18 OF also measured. Bands corresponding to internal vibration modes are observed 3370, 3285, 1397 885 for HOF; 2490, 2445, 1037 887 DOF; 1390 858 OF. In addition, intermolecular bands 628 448 575, 467 340 HOF/DOF mixtures; 630 449 samples deposited liquid N 2 temperature initially show rather broad mode no discernible bands, but upon standing or slight warming sharpen appear. interpreted in terms a simple cyclic dimer. However, alternative structures involving infinite planar zig-zag chains cannot be ruled out absence crystallographic data.
