Dissemination and communication of agrometeorological information—global perspectives

摘要: Agrometeorological information and services from the National Meteorological Hydrological Services (NMHSs) are increasingly being demanded by farming community to cope more efficiently with climate variability increasing incidence of extreme meteorological events such as droughts, floods, frosts wind erosion. While considerable advances have been made in collection, archiving analysis weather data, their transformation into that can be readily used farm sector has lagged behind, especially developing countries where needs greatest. One important reasons is lack adequate interaction user assessing appropriate dissemination communication procedures enhance value agrometeorological services.
