摘要: Abstract A new Chebyshev pseudospectral technique (based on the projection method that was previously applied by authors to solution of two-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in primitive variables for nonperiodic boundary conditions) is extended solve three-dimensional equations. The crucial point requirement continuity equation be satisfied everywhere domain, boundaries as well interior. key feature work presented this paper computer storage requirements full matrix inversion resulting from direct pressure Poisson three dimensions greatly reduced considering an eigenfunction decomposition. tested a driven cavity flow and results were compared with those most accurate finite-difference calculation. then calculated at same Reynolds numbers cases, i.e., Re = 100, 400, 1000. In results, effects observed all cases became more apparent increasing number.
