摘要: Abstract Objective: To determine if the magnitude of force used to induce incisor tooth movement promotes distinct activation in cells central amygdala (CEA) and lateral hypothalamus (LH) rats. Also, effect morphine on Fos immunoreactivity (Fos-IR) was investigated these nuclei. Materials Methods: Adult male rats were anesthetized divided into six groups: only (control), without orthodontic appliance (OA), OA but force, activated with 30g or 70g, 70g animals pretreated (2 mg/kg, intraperitoneal). Three hours after onset experiment reanesthetized perfused 4% paraformaldehyde. The brains removed fixed, sections containing CEA LH processed for protein immunohistochemistry.
