Digital Interventions for Psychological Comorbidities in Chronic Diseases-A Systematic Review.

摘要: Chronic diseases represent one of the main causes death worldwide. The integration digital solutions in clinical interventions is broadly diffused today; however, evidence on their efficacy addressing psychological comorbidities chronic sparse. This systematic review analyzes and synthesizes about outcomes specific diseases. According to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, a search PubMed, PsycInfo, Scopus Web Science databases was conducted. Only Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) were considered either depression or anxiety had be assessed match selection criteria. Of 7636 identified records, 17 matched inclusion criteria: 9 diabetes, 4 cardiovascular diseases, 3 Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) stroke. studies reviewed, 14 found effective. Quantitative synthesis highlighted moderate significant overall effect depression, while small non-significant. Design elements making effective singled out: (a) implementing communication loop with patients (b) providing disease-specific contents. focus "how" design technologies can facilitate translation into practice.
