摘要: AbstractA three-dimensional geometrical model is presented for generating discontinuous random fibre architectures consisting of high filament count bundles. The network randomly distributes bundles in a volume using non-contact algorithm, together with Catmull–Rom spline interpolation, to provide physically representative material. Only the spines are modelled, truss elements permit fractions up 60%, no restriction on bundle aspect ratio.
