摘要: This contribution presents clinical and technical aspects of combining positron emission tomography (PET) computed (CT) for patients with colorectal tumors characterization unclear liver foci. In which manner combined PET/CT is superior to PET or CT alone also discussed. can fulfil most prerequisites imaging in pre- postoperative management best meets the desire optimal procedures. Some disadvantages encountered frequently employed be overcome by combination while increasing both sensitivity detecting lesions specificity their characterization. Questions regarding treatment response offer an opportunity devising novel study concepts initiating research on new tracers. Although few publications are available, we opinion that functional anatomical provided improve preoperative aftercare. To this end, however, optimum cooperation between practitioners nuclear medicine radiology imperative.
