Characteristic of HPA Nonlinear Distortion Effects in MIMO-GFDM Systems

摘要: Generalized Frequency Division Multiplexing (GFDM) as a candidate waveform for 5G also uses High Power Amplifier (HPA) on the transmitter side. When HPA works in saturation region, it will cause nonlinear distortion. In addition, GFDM which high M-ary modulation result scatter plot signal placement and performance degradation. This paper presents characteristics of distortion effect Multiple Input Output (MIMO) transmission system with Saleh Model when 16 OQAM modulations. The simulation results show MIMO spreading constellation. Consequently, received be more difficult to correctly detected or can detected, however this has error information so that is decreasing.
