摘要: Abstract Traditional wavelength demultiplexers are usually designed by brute-force parameter sweeping that only uses a small space, which limits the functionality and compactness of device. Furthermore, long design cycle required these techniques reduces efficiency technology development. In this paper, we have tunable four-channel demultiplexer using recently proposed objective-first algorithm. High performance is achieved for with footprint 20. 16 μ m 2. The peak transmission efficiencies -1.87 dB, -2.10 -1.68 -1.74 dB crosstalk -14.0 -13.2 -13.7 -16.3 at 1453 nm, 1511 nm, 1576 nm, 1639 nm, each channel, respectively. Moreover, working channel can be tuned changing refractive index demultiplexer.
