摘要: Copyright Alessandro Campanaro et al. Rosalia alpina (Linnaeus, 1758) is a large longhorn beetle (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) which protected by the Habitats Directive and typically inhabits beech forests characterised presence of mature, dead (or moribund) sun-exposed trees. A revision current knowledge on systematics, ecology conservation R. reported. The research was carried out as part LIFE MIPP project aims to find standard monitoring method for saproxylic beetles in Europe. For this species, different methods were tested compared two areas Apennines, utilising wild trees, logs tripods (artificially built with woods), all potentially suitable reproduction species. Even if succeeded survey target these results showed that use trees outperformed other methods. Indeed, allowed more adults be observed required less intensive labour. However, rosalia longicorn has main disadvantage they can hardly considered “standard sampling units”, each tree may differently attractive adults. Our demonstrated most important factors influencing attraction single trunks wood volume, sun-exposure decay stage. Based obtained during MIPP, well literature review, developed.
