摘要: Studies of raptors have increased recently because some species shown serious population declines (Ratcliffe 1967, Hickey 1969). Information on dynamics and breeding biology in southwestern United States has been reported by Weston (1968), Platt (1971), Smith Murphy (1973), but except for the study Olendorff (1973) little data published raptor populations northern Great Plains since early 1900's. This paper presents ecology Ferruginous Hawk (Buteo regalis) with notes other McPherson County, northcentral South Dakota during 1973 1974.
