摘要: The tomato gene Mi-1 confers resistance to three species of root-knot nematodes, Meloidogyne spp. However, the mediated by is inactive at soil temperatures above 28 °C. Previously, we identified and mapped a novel heat-stable nematode from wild Lycopersicon peruvianum accession LA2157 on chromosome 6. Here report further characterization this against Mi-1-avirulent biotypes javanica, arenaria incognita. Screening segregating F2 F3 progenies, derived an intraspecific cross between susceptible LA392 resistant LA2157, for 25 °C 32 °C, revealed simple dominant monogenic inheritance with all tested. We designate as Mi-9. As first step towards cloning Mi-9, constructed linkage map around gene. A total 216 progeny were screened M. javanica CT119 Aps-1, markers that flank genetic interval contains DNA marker analysis indicated these also Further mapping recombinants both RFLP PCR-based localized Mi-9 short arm 6 within same spans region.
