摘要: This paper looks at how the strategies of mediaand cultural studies can be applied to thehealth field. relationship,however, has been met with resistance due anumber status debates. We argue theimportance fostering links between these`disciplines' namely because definition ofwhat constitutes `health' broadenedand is inscribed in most forms popularmedia. Using example `health andlifestyle' debate, we that mediainforms understandings aboutrequirements for living and therefore acrucial area analysis health studies(and cultural/media studies) students. arealso concerned analysing mediacontributes construction regulationof `healthy' subjects making publichealth discourses current debates thefield media health.
