摘要: Amino acid (AA) depletion techniques have been used to decrease serotonin (5-HT) and/or dopamine (DA) synthesis after administration of a tryptophan (acute depletion, ATD) or phenylalanine/tyrosine-free (phenylalanine–tyrosine PTD) AA formula and are useful as neurochemical challenge procedures study the impact DA 5-HT in patients with neuropsychiatric disorders. We recently demonstrated that refined Moja-De ATD paradigm decreases brain humans mice lowers turnover. In present we validated effects three developed formulas on function mice. To distinguish direct indirect such mixtures determine whether additive both could be obtained simultaneously, compared for 5-HT, PTD DA, combined monoamine mixture (CMD) control condition consisting balanced amino mixture. Food-deprived male C57BL/6J were gavaged mixtures. Serum samples collected analyzed determination (Trp), tyrosine (Tyr), 5-HIAA, DOPAC HVA levels. was most effective at decreasing Trp, 5-HIAA. contrast, reduced Tyr globally but only certain regions. Although CMD affected synthesis, it less when alone. The results demonstrate two newly differentially relative 5-HT-specific Moja-De. Different by these suggest exact composition may critical determinant effectiveness respect administered procedure.
