摘要: This article proposes a model based on Durkheim’s suicide framework as tool for enhancing gerontological practitioner’s ability to detect and prevent among elders. Although many detection tools are psychological factors, this focuses identifying environmental stressors that may increase stressors. To illustrate our concepts, we use case files from one author’s experience practicing social worker in nursing homes. We offer not replacement tools, but an additional practitioners who work identify suicides the elderly.
