摘要: Perchlorate (ClO4 −) contamination of groundwater has been estimated to potentially affect the drinking water supplies at least 12 million people in United States.1,2 is used as an oxidizer with solid missile and rocket fuels (up 70% w/w), automobile air bag inflation systems, reported be present lawn fertilizers (< 0.84%).3,4 a human health concern due its ability high doses interfere iodine uptake thyroid regulate hormones metabolism. There currently no federal standard for perchlorate, but many states have adopted interim provisional 18 ppb. stable extremely soluble water, not efficiently removed by conventional activated carbon ion exchange processes.
