摘要: Collision warning systems work on the information provided by different sensors. Among many factors that can affect performance of collision systems, effect sensor errors is investigated. Errors in direct measurements and derivatives are analysed based typical configurations which include a laser speedometer, Radar/Lidar. Empirical outputs under real traffic situations used deriving distributions measurement errors. The uncertainties criteria then examined empirically derived for three algorithms, Honda, Mazda NHTSA algorithm. It found some problematic certain could significantly systems.
