摘要: Abstract Recent studies suggest that infants and toddlers evaluate others based on their prosocial antisocial behaviors engage in themselves. It is unknown to what extent infants’ responses such reveal stable individual differences social and/or moral competence persist throughout development. The current study (N = 63) demonstrates performance sociomoral evaluation action (mean age = 12 months) predicts behavioral adjustment at age 4 years. Specifically, a stronger preference for actions as an infant was associated with parent reports of fewer callous–unemotional traits, the domain most conceptually related action, during preschool. Critically, preschool uniquely responding not other more general aspects functioning.
