摘要: BACKGROUND: The quality of vegetables for fresh consumption is a complex issue. In this study the yield and cherry tomato fruits were assessed under different environmental control conditions, namely in screenhouse (S), equipped with fogging system (SF) complements such as plastic sheeting to maintain microclimate created by (SFS), well open field (OF) cultivation. Levels vitamin C, carotenoids (lycopene, β-carotene lutein), phenolic compounds (flavonoids acids), sugars (fructose, glucose sucrose), organic acids (citric acid malic acid) flavour indices measured. aim was determine how technologies could influence production traits cultivated Mediterranean area. RESULTS: results showed that treatment’s decline maximum vapour pressure deficit (by 0.7 kPa compared OF cultivation), increase mean fruit weight about 4 g per fruit) low radiation temperature values may exert positive effect on lycopene accumulation. CONCLUSION: For nutritional parameters measured, it postulated treatment offers better balance between quality. This proved be best terms productivity, C contents antioxidant capacity. c 2013 Society Chemical Industry
