摘要: Background: Poor oral health reflects social inequalities, hence the prevention of diseases should be a priority in developed and underdeveloped countries around world. Medical practitioners must play an active role promotion. Summary: Proper knowledge is crucial medical practice due to following reasons: (a) Periodontal disease associated with multiple systemic conditions interest, (b) large number have manifestations, (c) many drugs are adverse drug reactions, (d) physicians generally not sufficiently trained detect cancer (e) could pivotal public health, (f) early detection by improve status population. Conclusions: Physicians need get more involved Moreover, education included curriculum future students.
