摘要: It has been almost forgotten that the first computers envisaged by Charles Babbage in early 1800s were mechanical and not electronic, but development of high-frequency nanoelectromechanical systems is now promising a range new applications, including sensitive charge detectors devices for signal processing, biological imaging quantum measurement. Here we describe construction nanodevices will operate with fundamental frequencies previously inaccessible microwave (greater than 1 gigahertz). This achievement represents significant advance quest extremely systems.
