摘要: Purpose To assess for the first time possible contribution of latent transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta binding protein 2 (LTBP2), an extracellular matrix (ECM) that associates with fibrillin-1-containing microfibrils, to etiology primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) and pseudoexfoliation (PEX) syndrome. Mutations in LTBP2 have previously been shown be cause congenital (PCG) other disorders often manifest as secondary glaucoma.
