摘要: To determine the presence of cardiac disease in hypertensive patients with disparities between physician and out-of-office blood pressures, we prospectively studied three groups age-matched identified by both casual (office) ambulatory pressures: (1) office pressure greater than 140/90 mm Hg awake 130/80 or less ("office" hypertensives); (2) 135/85 (normotensives); (3) ("daytime" hypertensives). In hypertension, left atrial index ventricular mass were significantly daytime hypertension not statistically different from those normotensive subjects. Left filling rate at rest ejection fraction peak exercise group but no These findings demonstrate that elevation only physician's have size function similar to individuals. Thus, average daily best predicts end-organ damage. (JAMA1989;261:873-877)
