摘要: Picosecond-pulsed ultraviolet-laser (UV-355 nm) assisted atom probe tomography (APT) was used to analyze protective, thermally grown chromium oxides formed on stainless steel. The influence of analysis parameters the thermal tail observed in mass spectra and chemical composition is investigated. A new parameter termed "laser sensitivity factor" introduced order quantify effect laser energy extent tail. This compare increasing tails chromia chromite samples. Also explored measured oxygen content specimen base temperature pulse frequency spectrum. Finally, we report a preliminary molecular ion dissociations chromia.
