摘要: This paper explores the emergence of a new ‘migrant division labour’ in London. In contrast to vision ‘professionalization’, it shows that London's labour market has been characterized by processes occupational polarization and disproportionate number low-paid jobs are now filled foreign-born workers. Drawing on original survey data, pay conditions migrant workers develops framework for understanding particular, stresses role British state shaping this divide.
