摘要: Abstract There has been increased interest in using graphene oxide (GO) various industrial applications such as working fluids, lubricants, oil and gas fields, heavy metal removal from water, anticorrosion paints coatings etc. We studied electrochemical properties of steel the presence suspended GO saline media. suspension characterized Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) X-ray diffractometer (XRD). measured effect concentration (0–15 ppm) on different techniques: open circuit potential (OCP), impedance spectroscopy (EIS), linear polarization resistance (LPR) potentiodynamic (PD) methods. Results indicate that suppression corrosion is directly proportional to increasing concentrations environments. Surface morphology corroded samples was examined Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Identification elements at accumulated layer estimated peaks energy dispersive x-ray (EDX) XRD. Increased protection abilities with have attributed domination salt surface which occurs via precipitation sodium chloride. analysis confirm there no direct behavior steel. The solution can enhance NaCl due decreased solubility further slows down corrosion. pourbaix diagram shows forms an anionic compound may electrode.
