摘要: Nanotechnology can contribute to the development of innovative applications in agriculture, food and feed sector by e.g. enabling improved delivery nutrients or increased efficacy agrichemicals. It is expected that will increase near future may therefore become a relevant source human exposure nanomaterials (NM). To gain more up-to date information, RIKILT Joint Research Centre (JRC) were commissioned European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) prepare an inventory currently used reasonably foreseen NM agriculture food/feed production carried out review regulatory aspects concerning both EU non-EU countries. An analysis information records shows nano-encapsulates, silver titanium dioxide are most frequent type listed additives contact materials types application. A comparison between marketed those indicates trend from inorganic (e.g. silver) towards organic (nano-encapsulates, nanocomposites). Applications novel food, additives, biocides pesticides mostly at developmental stage. The legislation few legal acts incorporate definition nanomaterial specific provisions for NM, whereas many countries broader approach applied, which mainly builds on guidance industry.
