摘要: The feasibility and sensitivity of electrochemical noise (EN), impedance spectroscopy (EIS), linear polarization resistance (LPR) for detection corrosion in post-tensioning (PT) components was investigated. use the electrical (ER) technique, as well EIS LPR, to detect air space at grout voids also explored. results showed that high measurements (in μV range) are feasible strand-anchorage systems. potential galvanic current trends assemblies suggest presence activation-passivation cycles linked each water ingress event. EN method adequate identify only one modality corrosion, failed other potentially important forms despite significant macrocell current. In contrast, LPR methods more reliably detected ongoing corrosion. ER could sensitively deterioration grouted bare steel strands exposed a humidity environment void. experiments an aggressive may evolve void, resulting appreciable rates. Conceptual designs field implementation above methodologies were formulated. A concept based on robust, single element, connection embedded probe, another two connection, element wire probe considered have best combinations features ease implementation. An alternative loop configuration is being tried cooperative testing.
