摘要: Abstract: Energy was recovered from municipal solid waste (MSW) in the United States as early 1890 s. During 1970s, MSW considered a fuel and first ‘modern’ to energy facilities were built. Large mass burn constructed field-erected grate-fired waterwall furnaces. Smaller shop-assembled modular systems with combustion taking place on hearths heat boilers. Refuse-derived (RDF) developed prepare suitable for boiler designed that specification. This chapter discusses burn, RDF have been proven over 30 years of successful operation States.
