摘要: Apoptosis is a characteristic form of cell death which has been implicated in neurodegeneration. In this study we document the induction apoptosis and DNA fragmentation vivo by 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP), neurotoxin. MPTP selectively damages dopaminergic neurons substantia nigra midbrain. It potent inducer oxygen radicals. Nicotinamide, precursor NAD, able to block induced MPTP. Nicotinamide also quenches some radicals formed xanthine oxidase. may be interest treatment
