摘要: Abstract Objectives: The objective of this study was to investigate the effect acupuncture administered during myelosuppressive chemotherapy on white blood cell (WBC) count and absolute neutrophil (ANC) in patients with ovarian cancer. Design: This is a pilot, randomized, sham-controlled clinical trial. Patients received active versus sham while undergoing chemotherapy. A standardized protocol employed manual electrostimulation. frequency treatment 2–3 times per week for total 10 sessions, starting 1 before second cycle Setting: setting two outpatient academic centers Subjects: Twenty-one (21) newly diagnosed recurrent cancer were subjects.
